Introduction to the selection of alloy tools

When choosing the angle of alloy tools, it is necessary to consider the influence of many factors, such as workpiece material, alloy tool material, machinability (rough and finishing), etc., and must be selected reasonably according to the detailed environment. Generally speaking, the angle of alloy cutting tools refers to the marking angles used in manufacturing and measurement. In real life, due to the difference in the placement of alloy cutting tools and the shift of cutting activity, the actual angle and the marked angle are different, but they are usually different. The materials used to manufacture alloy tools must have high high temperature hardness and wear resistance, necessary bending strength, impact toughness and chemical inertness, excellent workmanship (cutting, casting and heat treatment punishment, etc.), and not easy to deform .

Usually when the hardness of the material is high, the wear resistance is also high; when the bending strength is high, the impact toughness is also high. But the higher the hardness of the material, the lower its bending strength and toughness. Due to its high bending strength and impact toughness, as well as excellent machinability, high-speed steel is still the most widely used alloy tool material, followed by cemented carbide.
