Cemented carbide milling cutters are mainly divided into: solid carbide milling cutters | cemented carbide straight shank milling cutters | cemented carbide saw blade milling cutters | cemented carbide spiral milling cutters | cemented carbide reamer milling cutters |Carbide End Mills|Carbide Ball End Mills
Application of cemented carbide milling cutter
Cemented carbide milling cutters are usually used in CNC machining centers and CNC engraving machines. It can also be loaded on a traditional milling machine to process some hard and uncomplicated heat-treated materials.
1. Carbide cylindrical milling cutter: used for horizontal milling machine processing plane. The teeth are distributed on the circumference of the milling cutter, and are divided into straight teeth and spiral teeth according to the tooth profile. According to the number of teeth, there are two types: coarse teeth and fine teeth. The helical coarse-tooth milling cutter has few teeth, high tooth height and large chip space, which is suitable for rough machining; fine-tooth milling cutter is suitable for finishing.
2. Carbide end milling cutter: used for vertical milling machine, vertical milling machine or gantry milling machine. It has teeth on the end face and circumference, as well as coarse and fine teeth. There are three types of this structure: integer, insert and indexable.
3. Carbide end mills: used for machining grooves and stepped surfaces, etc. The teeth are on the circumference and end faces, and cannot be fed along the axial direction during operation. When the end mill has a tooth passing through the center, it can feed axially.
4. Cemented carbide three-sided milling cutter: used to process various grooves and stepped surfaces, with teeth on both sides and periphery.
5. Carbide angle milling cutter: used to mill a groove at a certain angle, there are two kinds of single-angle and double-angle milling cutters.
6. Carbide saw blade milling cutter: used for processing deep grooves and cutting workpieces, with more teeth on the circumference. In order to reduce friction in the milling process, the two sides of the cutter have a secondary tilt of 15'~1°. In addition, there are keyway milling cutters, dovetail milling cutters, T-slot milling cutters and various forming tools.
